Tell Me What You Think Please!

I've had a word burning in my heart, and I feel I need to share it with the church but I'm not to sure what kind of points or scriptures to use, please help me :)

The word is this..."what has been dedicated to God, belongs to God so therefore the enemy has no claim on it!"

This kind of reminds me of Job.

Powerful thought! Read I Per 3:12-14 in the Message version...your opposition has no power over you, don't even listen to it!

Good to see you back to posting!

I'm a lowly lay(woman) - but my first thoughts were all the people dedicated to the Lord as young children, who may not be living for the Lord now....but they are HIS children! We must take back what the enemy has [tried] to steal from us!

Dedicate means, "to set apart for a special use"... "to commit oneself to a particular course of action". We have definately been "set apart" for HIS glory and we are committed to HIS course. Perhaps HE is speaking a word of confirmation and encouragement: Proverbs 29:25 (The Message) states, " The fear of human opinion disables, trusting in God protects you from that." Knowing that the enemy has no claim on the 'called of God' or the 'work' that He has for us.
Sorry this is so long..In Galatians 3:vv 14-16: " That the blessing of Abraham might come upon the Gentiles in Christ Jesus, that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith. Brethren, I speak in the manner of men: Though it is only a man's covenant, yet it is confirmed, no one annuls or adds to it. Now to Abraham and his Seed were promises made. He does not say, ' And to seeds,' as of many, but as of one, ' And to you seed,' who is Christ." So, this is where I agree with Amber...we are Abraham's seed..Galatians 3:29 states "And if you are Christ's, then you are Abraham's seed, and heirs according to the promise." That seed is intended to possess the gates of the enemy, to overcome, overtake and multiply until it fills the earth. It is the very glory of God manifested through HIS people and filling the earth. (See Hab. 2:14) Satan has no hold!

OOPS I just read the date on which you posted this...! Well, I will submit this anyway..
To HIM be all the Glory!
I believe you and your congregation are headed toward revival Pastor!

In, through and to HIM,
Deborha
