40 Day Fast

As our church begins this 40 day fast, I feel led of the Spirit to journal the things that are shown to me or spoken to me during my time with God. So here I go.

Day 1:

The Spirit of the Lord declares that the alarm is sounding and it is time for the church to rise from its slumber and sleep. To rise up and dress itself in the presence and power of God. Yet many will hear the alarm but will push the snooze button, in doing so they will continue to sleep and slumber which will cause them to miss the Lord as he passes by. Once again I say to you arise from your sleep and dress yourself that you may be ready when the Lord comes by!
